안녕하세요. 저는 리즈라고 합니다. 저는 한국에서 태어난 후 계속 한국에 살고 있는 한국인이에요. 저는 한국어를 가르치는 일에 보람을 느끼고 있어요. 제가 한국어를 가르치게 된 계기는 바로 외국 사람과의 만남 때문이에요. 한국에 한국어에 관심이 많은 사람들을 만나고 그 친구들에게 한국어를 잘 가르쳐 주고 싶었어요. 저는 여행도 좋아하고 외국 사람들과 이야기하는 것도 좋아해요. 우리 함께 한국어를 공부해 봐요:)

저는 외국어를 원어민에게 배운다면 당연히 배우려는 언어로 수업을 해야 한다고 생각해요. 초급의 경우 의사소통을 위한 간단한 영어를 사용할 수 있지만 될 수 있으면 한국어를 사용할 거예요. 문법은 기초가 될 수 있지만 한국어를 잘하려면 대화를 잘할 수 있어야 한다고 생각해요. 그래서 수업 시간에 대화를 많이 할 거예요. 물론 한국어를 배우는 목적에 따라 쓰기와 문법, 읽기 등의 교육 또한 할 거예요. 저는 PPT나 인터넷 사이트, 유튜브 등 모든 자료가 수업에 이용될 수 있다고 생각해요.
I think that if you learn a foreign language from a native speaker, you should definitely teach the language you want to learn. For beginners, you can use simple English for communication, but I will use Korean if possible. Grammar can be the basis, but I think you need to be able to communicate well to be good at Korean.
