Been meaning to write a review for a long time. I've been taking French conversation lessons with Julie almost every week for six months now, and she is amazing. My French is somewhat fluent, so our "lesson" is mostly just unstructured conversation, but it's great practice for me, and she's always helpful and non-judgmental when I don't know a word or stumble over some difficult grammatical thing. Julie has terrific insights about the language learning and teaching processes more generally too. She's super easy to talk to, always has interesting things to discuss, and has wonderful energy. I'm in such a good mood at the end of every lesson. :)

Julie is so supportive and warm and has interesting materials and stories for conversation. She is relaxed in her approach with me but always professional and focused on helping me learn.

She is always kind and patient when I'm trying to figure out how to say something. We always talk about interesting topics and my confidence when speaking French has definitely improved! :)

I am a person who puts emphasis on vibes and Julie for sure meets all the requirements. I love her energy, i felt comfortable, the conversation was flowing and chill, no pressure but at the same time I was motivated to speak as much as I can in French. Looking forward to our next lesson
