My name is Tom and I come from England in the United Kingdom. I live in Wales, by the sea.
I am a native English speaker. I've been teaching English as a foreign language since 2006. I've worked in many colleges and I have worked online since 2017.
I have three teaching diplomas including CertTESOL (Trinity College London). I have a bachelor's degree.
I teach adults, children, and teenagers (all levels). I recommend 30-minute lessons for younger children.
I can help you to become more confident with speaking & grammar.

My lessons are interactive, and I help you to speak as much as possible! I have a patient and calm teaching style. I want to help you grow in confidence. I will support you as you speak and correct you as necessary.

English Language Lecturer Bradford CollegeI taught teenagers from many different countries, preparing them for City & Guilds ESOL exams from beginner to advanced level. I was responsible for the course.
2013 - 2015
ESOL Resource Specialist British CouncilI worked as an ESOL Resource Specialist, (freelance). I prepared quality lesson plans and online teaching tools that have been used and appreciated by many teachers and students. I developed materials for various British Council projects including ESOL Nexus, Offender Learning & Anniversaries Project.

Online English Tutor Self-employedI have been teaching adults and children online since 2017. I have experience of teaching one-to-one and groups, from beginner level to advanced.
